Bible Quizzing

This year our students are studying the Gospel of Luke. Bible quizzing meets all the developmental areas in the lives of your young people.

Memory Verses

Four tournaments each year work through a book of the Bible together. Full verse lists for every tournament are below.

  • Tournament 1 — Luke Chapters 1–6
  • Tournament 2 — Luke Chapters 7–12
  • Tournament 3 — Luke Chapters 13–18
  • Tournament 4 (Final) — Luke Chapters 19–24

Correspondence Courses

Studying God’s Word will help you learn more about yourself, that Jesus is the only way to get to Heaven, and how He wants you to live. Seventeen graded courses from preschool through adult, plus a Spanish course.

Outreach

Bible Quizzing

This year our students are studying the Gospel of Luke. Proposed Quiz Dates are:

  • October 18, 2025 (Blytheville, AR)
  • December 13, 2025 (Nashville, TN)
  • February 7, 2026 (Knoxville, TN)
  • March 28, 2026 (Final Quiz at Cedine)

Bible quizzing meets all the developmental areas in the lives of your young people.

Physical

The first person to jump off his/her seat gets to answer the question.

Mental

The young people learn proper study habits and how to think on their feet.

Emotional

They learn to handle the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat in a proper manner.

Spiritual

As the young people study the Word of God they are encouraged to put the Word of God into practice in their lives.

Social

The young people compete with and make friends with young people their own age from the surrounding areas.

When you are involved in Cedine’s Bible Quiz Program you can also earn your camp payment (all you pay is the registration payment). Your camp payment can be earned by either memorizing the 100 verses that are designated memory verses or by maintaining a perfect 80 average in counting quizzes held with your team. Forms must be turned in by May 1st.

To reserve your spot for one week of camp:

  1. Fill out reservation form.
  2. Send $80.00 reservation payment with form.
  3. Mail form no later than April 30th.
  4. Follow this link for registration details.

You will need to

  1. Read the lesson completely
  2. Fill out the question sheet.
  3. Memorize the memory verses
  4. Quote the memory verses to your parent, pastor, spouse or teacher and have him/her sign the verification form.
  5. Mail the question sheet and the memory verse form back to us. We will grade it and return it to you with the next lesson.

For Summer Camp:

A $220 credit is available to anyone age 8-18 who satisfactorily completes the lessons of a course and memorizes the required verses. The $80 deposit is still required. Camp fee will automatically be $300. There will not be an early bird price for this award. So if you complete a course you will be awarded $220 and pay $80 for a total of $300.

Correspondence Courses must be started by January 31st and completed by May 15th to receive $220 off of summer camp. You must also send in a reservation form and fee to reserve your spot.

Adults:

Adults may take courses for their own spiritual growth. They may receive $80 off of a retreat or family camp. In order to do this they must finish the lessons satisfactorily and memorize the verses. These courses must be completed at least 30 days before a retreat and sent in at least two weeks in advance.
